Threads app is a microblogging platform supported by the popular Image Sharing Platform, Instagram. This App was developed by Meta and finally, it was published for public users on 6th July 2023.
It almost looks like a Twitter app where you can share daily activities in Text Formats, Images, and Videos, but especially it was made for Captions sharing similar to Twitter.
Before that, it was a closed private application for Instagram but now users can see all updates publicly.

How To Create an Account on Threads App?
Creating an account on Threads is super easy, Follow these simple steps-
- Download Threads App From Your App Store.
- Now Download and log in to your Instagram Account, because Threads App requires an Instagram ID to create an account on Threads App.
- Now open your Threads App
- Now you can see your Instagram username/Account at the bottom. Just press on that
- Your account is finally created
- Now you can set up your profile manually or directly import from Instagram, Everything will be set to this account as your Instagram profile.
How to Delete Threads App Account?
Almost every social media platform allows you to delete your public account, but Meta has not allowed the deleting of your Threads Account, But there is a way to delete your Threads App, As meta officially provides.
If you want to delete your Threads Account, then you have to delete your Instagram account from your App. Meta is currently working to fix this but currently, you have to delete your Instagram iD to delete the Threads Account, you can read more about that here.
