Display and Build Quality
The HONOR X9b comes with a 6.78-inch, 120Hz AMOLED display supported by 1200 nits peak brightness and 1B color modules. It considers a 91.2% screen-to-body ratio and 1220 x 2652 pixels resolution.
Whether you are a gaming or movie lover then this phone may be a quite best partner for you. It will help you to play competitive gaming and can give you an excellent view when you watch videos. Its 120Hz screen refresh rate makes the graphics and performance smoother even while playing games. There are thin bezels on the bottom and upper corners and the sidebar is curved and bezel-less. Seriously, I am infatuated with this display.
Performances
As for the performance, it runs on Android 13-based Magic OS 7.2 UI skin, unfortunately, inbuilt Android 14 is missing and you can get it out of the box.
The HONOR X9b boasts an Octa-Core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (4 nm) processor with the Adreno 710 GPU. This processor is one of the best multi-purpose user chipsets and comes with a 2.2GHz good processing speed.
As we sneak peek at its CPU machine, it comes with the 4 primary cores with a 2.2GHz clock speed while the rest of the 4 cores come with a 1.8GHz clock speed.
You can easily play games on 60FPS without any lag and scratch on low and Medium Settings. It is pretty optimized for the 120Hz display so you never feel trouble when you multi-tasking. It will be better if the company uses DImensity 7200 instead of it, which carries quite better performance but it is also excellent with the new machine system developed by Qualcomm.
Camera Efficiency
Moving to camera efficiency, the HONOR x9b comes with a triple rear camera setup including a 108 MP primary lens with an aperture of f/1.8, (wide), 1/1.67″, and PDAF. The rest of the two cameras are 5Mp Ultra-wide lenses and 2Mp macro sensors. Surprisingly, it jumped 108 Mp to directly 5 Mp down but the primary camera is already performing well.
It allows 4K recording at 30FPS and also a 1080 p resolution video. Unfortunately, we missing the 60FPS video recording features that should be available in this phone. For selfies, there is a 16Mp shooter that also allows you 1080p video recording at the 30FPS mode.
It works excellent in daylight mode but there is a slightly low performance at night even in video recording.

The HONOR X9b comes with the two models right now but is currently launched and appears with the base model 8GB RAM and 256GB Storage on Flipkart and Amazon.
There is a loudspeaker with a high base and crystelic sound unfortunately missing a 3.5mm Audio jack.

It supports USB Type-C 2.0 which disappoints us because this generation’s phone upgraded itself with the USB Type-C 3.0 but this phone is still rendering with a standard machine.
Protections
The phone is certified with the IP53 rating protection means the phone can survive normal water drops and dust but when it is dumped in water, it can’t survive. So you have to strictly save it from the water and sweat, even not all the phones, few region dependant phones get this so that is very disappointing it.

- The display is quite good but the protection is just a standard mode. Even if it is protected with the IP53 Rating protection which can only save the phone from normal water drops, when your phone is dumped in the water, it may damage your phone.
- The phone comes with the in-built Android 13 Os support which is not a good decision because it claims to provide you with 2 years of security and major updates, so it can only get two major Software from now. However, you can install the Android 14 out of the box.
- The HONOR X9b does not support External Card Support, which means you can not increase the internal storage.
- The rear camera’s primary sensor is good but the rest of the two sensors should little improvements.
- The front display is also good but not the best, it needs improvements
- No support for a 3.5mm Audio Jack, so in this case you can use Best Earbuds or USB Type-C port earphones.
- It comes with the USB Type-C 2.0 Charing Port which is disappointing.

Overall, as seen the phone status, looks quite good compared to other brands. The most interesting thing is its durability. Even though it has a curved display the phone is extra durable without losing the performance.
