When I purchased this earbud from Amazon, I received a unit of Premium boAt packet, inside that I received a boAt Airdopes 141 with 2 pairs of additional ear tips, FAQ Notes, A Thank You Note, boAt stickers, a Manual setup guide book and finally a USB Type-C charging cable.

The additional ear tips are available in different shapes So that people with small or big ears can wear them comfortably. The ear tips are made with silicon, which makes us feel soft & Comfortable.

as seen every time, there are only USB Type-A to Type-C charging cables. Unfortunately, there is no charging adapter, so you have to be careful when charging with different adapters because it might cause trouble in the earbuds.

Build Quality

The boAt Airdopes 141 has an overall good build quality. Firstly I feel like, it is a low-quality fabric, but when we tested it properly, as result, the Earbud case is built with high-quality plastic material. For making these earbuds lightweight, the company has used a special plastic material.

The size of the Earbuds is compact and easily fit in our hand. As for branding, there is a boat brand logo on the front side inside a vertical pill-shaped cutout. There are a total of four dot-cut for blinking lights, which indicates the charging and connectivity signals.

At the bottom, you can find the USB Type-C charging port that supports fast charging as well. Inside the Earbud case. you can see a pair of earbuds signed as L for left and R for right ears. The buds are put securely because I have rotated this case, but the buds do not get out automatically.

Design & Comfort

Finally, I put out the buds from the case and now its look is really premium. There are a boat brand logo and fingerprint sign placed on the buds that indicate, you can control everything via swapping & tapping on the buds.

There is a blinking light on the top of the buds, that indicates the activations and the connectivity. The buds and the charging case have a matte finish so it feels soft. The Buds are very lightweight and I wear them for more than 4 hours and play games but I never feel any serious concern.

The silicone ear tips are compact and easily can fit in the ear. Even, there are additional 2 different pairs of silicone ear tips for those who have large ears or small ears. The boat tries to make users comfortable fully.

Its design is almost the same as the boat airdrops 131 Pro if we except for its branding and its ear tips. There are a little few differences in sound quality also, but the prices are different for both buds.

At the bottom of the buds, you can find the charging port, that connects the charging case, when we put the buds in the case.

This bud is protected with IPX4 rating protections, which means you can wear it when bathing or when raining, even in the gym. It has an excellent 8mm driver that produces sweet sounds.

Audio Quality

The sound quality is good as its price. I feel its bass quality and that is good. there is a boat signature sound so that you can enjoy music and movies perfectly.

I feel a little bit of audio lag due to its latency. The boAt Airdopes 141 has around 80ms. It will be better if the Latency will be around 40ms.

I played the BGMI game while wearing boat Airdopes 141 and what I feel like. The footsteps I hear clearly, but due to latency, the audio was a little delayed. Apart from that, there is no compromise with audio.

The gun firing sound is good, the footsteps are clear and the communication with friends is also clear. I feel sometimes the audio cut.

As advertised the earbuds can run for 6 hours, but when I played a game on it, The buds were shut down after 5 to 6 hours of nonstop use.

The Case also provides around 42h case backup. When I charged it for 5 minutes, The buds runs around 70 to 75 minutes nonstop.

There is an inbuilt Bluetooth V5.0 but it should be better than if there will be latest Bluetooth V5.3 technology.

Gaming Experience

As you know, I like to play online games. I use so many headphones, earphones, and earbuds and played PUBGI and now BGMI.

When I played BGMI, then I feel like unfortunate. Because the audio latency is around 80ms, means the audio is delayed when enemies come around me.

I never detect the current enemies’ position, because of their audio delay and the enemies killed us. Otherwise, the sound of SFX was awesome. The Bass, The COmmunication, and the gun-firing SFX feel like wearing expensive headphones. Even after that, the gaming experience was good but not impressive.

Mic Quality

Firstly I tested its mic via call. The audio quality and the strength were good. Even in the 2nd person, the sound quality was good. Now I have tried to record my voice via these earbuds. I can’t. It doesn’t allow you to record voice through device recording features. It can record voice calls.

After that, I call from online apps like WhatsApp and Whatsapp Messenger. Now I feel some audio cuts. If I am happed because of the Network issues, but sometimes the audio was lagging.

These earbuds are for regular voice calls and enjoying music or movies. You can’t use it for professional use.

Battery Backup

Battery backup is so important thing in wireless technology. The boAt Airdopes 141 has a good battery backup, In the case and in the buds as well.

As advertised, the boat Airdopes 141 gives you 42h of case battery backup and the buds give you 6 hours of non-stop. But when I tested, the result was almost the same.

The boAt Airdopes 141 earbuds run for around 7 to 9 hours non-stop at 80% sound, during this period, I played moderate music and games as well.

So I feel like, it has a good battery backup, But the boat Airdopes 141 Pro variant gives more backups. The boAt Airdopes 141 gives 42h case and 6 hours of buds playback, but its pro variant gives 45 hours of the case and 9 hours of non-stop paybacks. But its price is the difference around 200 to 250 rupees.

Now my suggestion is, if you are a moderate user then you can run these Earbuds for a week without any issue via case.

Charging Efficiency

As for charging efficiency, I carry a 33W POCO X3 Pro charger to charge this. The most powerful thing is it has a USB Typ-C charging that supports fast charging, so my charger charged it fully for around 1 hour.

But depending on the kind of chargers, it might take 1 hour to 2 hours to charge to 100%. And it can run for a week with heavy use.

There are so many earbuds existing in the market for under 1500 rupees but this was a special experience for me because its premium design impress us after that its sound quality and its playback as well. If we accept its latency, this earbud is a top best earbud under 1500.

Its pro variant has a little more power in the playback and bass quality but the price is increased by around Rs 1500.

So if you like to show off your premiums, Want to enjoy music movies, and games with a single earbud, then my first recommendation is, If you can afford then go with boAt Airpods 141 pro, otherwise the Airdopes 141 is the best earbud under Rs 1299 budget.

Note: If you want to play competitive-level games then you should make distance from that because its latency is a little high for gaming. A gaming earbud’s latency should be around 20ms to 30ms after that you can play high-level gamins wirelessly.
