Infinix announced their most exciting phone Infinix Smart 8 with an excellent 90Hz display, with the support of 500nits peak brightness, 1.6Hz Octa-Core SoC, and 128GB Onboard storage. The Infinix Smart 8 featured in Timber Black, Galaxy White, Crystal Green, and Shiny Gold color options, and the sale is still live in Nigeria at the cost of NGN 82,000 (USD 102 / Rs. 8485).

Infinix Smart 8 Key Specifications

  • Display: The Infinix Smart 8 comes with a 6.6 inch, HD+ 90Hz refresh rate display giving you a quality display at this cost. Its resolution is 720 x 1612 pixels and supports 500nits peak brightness.
  • Software: The phone is running on Android 13-based XOS 13 UI skin. It equipped an octa-core, Unisoc T606 Processor with a 1.6 GHz primary clocked CPU. This software is upgradable also but is yet to be announced officially.
  • Memory Options: The Phone comes with two models– 4GB RAM+128GB Storage which can be expandable by using a MicroSD card. The top model is yet to be revealed in Nigeria.
  • Camera: The Infinix Smart 8 comes with a dual camera lens at the back side including a 13Mp primary camera and the 2ndry camera is AI-based optics that are used to stabilize your image and make a good look. For making video calls, there is also an 8Mp front-facing camera.
  • Connectivity: As for the connectivity and fast GPRS/Internet services, the Phone supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wifi 802.11, Bluetooth V5, GPS, and USB Type-C port. Unfortunately, there is no support for 5G Connectivity.
  • Sensors: As for the sensor options, the Phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that works quite well. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio support.
  • Battery: The Infinix Smart 8 comes with a 5000mAh battery with the support of a 10W charger only.

Furthermore, Infinix is looking to bring a 5g phone also in the start of next year. A Leak states that the phone will come with a MediaTek Helio chipset, a 5000mAh battery, and the support of 5G connectivity.
