Xiaomi is all set to launch its brand new affordable Smartwatch– the Xiaomi Watch 2 without a pro model. It is priced under 200 euros and gives you seamless performance with its Google Wear OS and a modern Qualcomm CPU at a very affordable price.
However, it has not been released yet and it is only available for pre-order at 199.99 Euros to 219.99 Euros depending on the region.
It comes in two exciting models that have a choice to select a 46-millimeter-wide black or silver aluminum case, each paired with matching colored bands.
Xiaomi Watch 2: Specifications
As for the core specification of the much-awaited Xiaomi Watch 2, it comes with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. It features a subtly wide bezel concealed by the glass cover design. The panel also supports an Always-On mode for added convenience.
The Xiaomi Watch 2 boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 Quadcore Processor, manufactured using an excellent 4-nanometer process. After seeing these, the company claims that it can last up to 3 days, translating to almost 65 hours on a single charge.
It is protected with the 5 ATM water-resistance support which protects it from sweat and minimal water drops but it cautions you can not swim when wearing this.
As usual, there are pinch-it charging features available at the bottom of the watch incorporating standard sensors for various fitness and tracking features.
With support for over 150 sports modes, sleep monitoring, speed measurement, and blood oxygen saturation measurement, the Xiaomi Watch 2 offers a range of health and fitness tracking capabilities.
Because this smartwatch comes with Google’s, Android WearOS operating system, it has inbuilt Google apps like Google Wallet and Google Maps, with the option to download additional apps from the Play Store.
As for the connectivity features, it has the support of Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, and GNSS furthermore it can be controlled via Smartphone with its WIFI 5.2 method but it does not allow you the LTE connection, I think it is reserved for its Pro Model ye to be announced.
