Previously we have stated that Samsung is working on the next gadget with the brand name Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, which emerges on the benchmark website with a few key specifications. The Galaxy A16 5G is said to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor which has two clusters and 8 cores with a primary clusters max clock speed at 2.40GHz.
The key specifications state that, Samsung again looking to launch a mid-range budget category phone. Yet, the design is expected to be like the Galaxy 15 5G mobile, similarly, there will be the same camera placement.
Samsung Galaxy A16 5G Leaks
The Galaxy A16 mobile appeared on the GeekBench website states runs on Android 14 OS. Additionally, the source revealed, the phone will come with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
According to the source, the Galaxy A16 5G doesn’t have significant changes compared to the Galaxy A15. The phone will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 13-megapixel front-facing selfie camera to offer users a diverse shooting experience.
The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G comes with a 5000mAh large-capacity battery, with a rated capacity of 4860mAh. This means the phone can last more than a day on a single charge, meeting the needs of users for long-term use.
As we expected according to the previous model Galaxy A15, we expected that the phone may come with the same 90Hz, 6.5-inch display, Android 14-based One UI 6 UI, and 5000mAh battery capacity. There might be changes in Triple Rear Camera setup and charging capabilities.
The Galaxy A15 has the Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ (6 nm) processor with a 2.2GHz primary cluster clock speed. So it is almost confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G has a better processor and carries better performance.
However, it is our assumption only so we have to wait for the leaks and a few official statements for confirmation.
