Recently Realme has introduced the latest Major Security Update. In this update, they worked on
Smart efficiency, Performance optimization, aerodynamic design, and Security features. They made a lot of changes in the update and the Serucity feature was super useful for us.
When we install any unknown apps they ask for permission to access our storage so that they can use our Photos and videos. It is required when you upload or send something from your phone to others via messages or apps.
It was like a Security Breach because today we have a lot of applications right now and we are using them daily. Between them sometimes we give access to malware-affected apps and they use our data, they can access our photos and videos also.
So considering these things, Realme has brought a special “Safer Access By Apps” Security feature that is enhanced to make you safer from getting affected by malware.
You don’t have to enable or disable these features, It automatically works and is operated by the company. However, it comes with enhanced security features, and managing what and when it needs to permit an application to access your Photos and Videos.
A few other security features also have come with the Realme UI 5.0 update like Smart Efficiency, Performance Optimization Qquamorphic Design, etc. This update made many major changes in the system and improved the system’s stability.
File Dock in Realme UI 5.0 Update
One new thing we have seen in this update is the File Dock feature which comes under Smart Efficiency options. It is the latest feature introduced by Realme. To use this, you need to enable the Smart Sidebar where you can see an option, Dock File options. When you tap on it, you can see a space where you can put the content by drag and drop after a long press on it. Here you can see the processes in the video—
Using these you can share your photos, videos, and text from one app to another app. For example, if you need to share a photo from WhatsApp to Email, you need to long press on it and drag and drop it to the File Dock in the floating sidebar, open the email, and again drag the file from the Floating File Dock and Drop in Email.
