The company introduced the Oppo A12 device on 20 April 2020. The device comes in two storage and RAM configurations for the local market. Overall this is a great phone for under the INR 9000 (approx $117) budget.

Display & Build Quality

Oppo A12 features a 6.22-inch HD+ IPS LCD which integrates 450 nits typ brightness to the display. Its resolution Is 720 x 1520 pixels and it uses an 82.0% screen-to-body ratio.

As per the build quality, the device is built-in with a plastic frame and a plastic back panel. The front side has an IPS LCD which is also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The backside has an oval-shaped overcut at the top right corner to place a dual-camera setup. alongside an LED Flashlight. In the almost middle of the back panel, you can find a fingerprint sensor on the backside, that works well and reads fingerprints perfectly.

At the right side edge, have a power button to turn off or turn on the device. To control volume, the company has placed a volume rocker on the left side.

At the bottom, you can find a speaker and charging point paired with a 3.5mm audio jack.

Processor And Os

The device is currently running on Android 9 Pie which is upgradable to Android 10 OS. Its skin is based on ColorOS 6.1 UI. The Oppo A12 equips a MediaTek Helio P35 processor based on PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The pair of good GPU and Processor, bring a great performance to the device.
