Carl Pei has now officially revealed that the much-awaited Nothing Phone 2A will launch on 5th March 2024. This information has officially surfaced from the Nothing Twitter handle via a Tweet. The company has held an event called Fresh Eyes Event.
The teaser first appeared as two circles as an eye then a text appeared like “Fresh. Eyes.” then one by one shows silhouettes for eyes and a brand text appeared “Nothing (R)” and then the even date 05.03.2024 and we all know what to come!
Nothing Phone 2A Key Specifications
Ahead of the launch few specifications were revealed by the leaks and tipster. Popular tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed a few specifications of the much-awaited Nothing Phone 2 via Tweets. According to him, the phone will come with a 6.7 Inch, 120Hz, AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra Chipset, Dual 50Mp + 50Mp ultra-wide rear camera setup, 32M Selfie shooter and 45W Fast Charging Support.
Moreover, the Nothing Phone 2A will come with inbuilt Android 14 support which is extremely exciting with the Nothing OS 2.5 stable UI skin. Even they have also tipped the price will be around $400 (Approximately INR 30000) for the base model.
Why is Nothing Phone 2A Launching?
As you know Nothing has launched only two phones in the market previously– Nothing Phone (1) and Nothing Phone (2). Both are different from each other. The Phone (1) is affordable but less features while the Phone (2) has flagship features but its price is Expensive.
So considering the mid-range users, they have decided to launch a phone with the combined features of both previous phones.
The upcoming Nothing Phone 2A will combine features from Phone (1) and Phone (2) at a mid-range price point, with new and exciting features.
A few days ago a rumor surfaced that the Phone 2A would not support Glyph Effects that was not accurate because the company has also launched the Glyph Developer Kit which allows Glyph lighting on the back of Nothing smartphones and the Phone 2A will also support it.
